When you support The Buffalo History Museum, you make inspiration and discovery happen. Ensure that the stories of today and the past are preserved and accessible for generations to come.
Annual Giving & Development
The Buffalo History Museum adds depth and breadth to the collection by focusing on objects made in or associated with Buffalo and Erie County. These objects are given a permanent and safe home, preserving them and their stories for future generations and making them accessible to the public.
The Museum continues to add to its collection through gifts and donations from generous individuals and organizations, as well as through purchases funded by supporters of the Museum.
We are grateful for inquires about artifact donations. However, due to storage space limitations, duplication, and collections policies, all inquiries for artifact donation must be sent in advance to the appropriate contact below before we can assess or confirm any donations.
